Why are we known as the Jachin Group (Solutions) Ltd? Here’s the story!
Our roots trace back to R. Hewett Limited, Acton, founded by my great grandfather, Richard John Hewett, who began his journey as a builder and builder’s merchant in 1900. The business probably expanded around the time the date was painted on a house in Acton. The original workshop was located in Acton Green, about half a mile south of Acton.
The tools used by the workers had “UIT” marked on them. My great Uncle, who was still alive in the early 1990s, explained that the unusual marking was due to the local accent, which dropped the ‘h’ from words. Hence, Hewett would be pronounced as “UIT”. This unique linguistic quirk inspired us to carry the tradition forward, shaping the identity of our business as the Jachin Group (Solutions) Ltd.
Richard J. Hewett passed away on June 28th, 1935, leaving behind a large family. His death didn’t mark the end of the business, but rather it continued to prosper under the leadership of his two sons, Clemence Vincent Hewett, and Frank Walter Hewett. The business relocated from Acton Green to Britannia Way, Park Royal in the 1950s.

On the other hand, Paul’s vast knowledge in mechanical engineering and digital marketing, combined with a sharp business acumen, has been instrumental in pioneering sustainable and innovative construction solutions, making Jachin Group (Solutions) Ltd Ltd a leader in its domain.
His ability to craft compelling narratives, combined with a deep understanding of modern media platforms, ensures the company’s projects are not only built to perfection but also showcased to the world in their best light. Project Manager
Jason is responsible for planning, executing, and closing construction projects. He coordinates with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal our teams, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications: he liaises closely with Steven and Paul.
Construction/Site Manager
Steven manages and oversees the on-site activities of all our construction projects. He manages our construction teams, ensuring that work is carried out safely and efficiently, and addresses any issues or challenges that arise during construction on a daily basis.
